John Russell Smith (1895 - 1971)
John Russell Smith was born in Stanberry, Missouri by his father, Oscar and mother, Vizona. He married Gladys Lurline Byrd in Walters, Oklahoma. They had two daughters during their marriage. They had two daughters during their marriage. John was a respected doctor and served his country during World War II. He died in Dallas, Texas and was buried there.
Gladys Lurine Bryd (1899–1988)
Gladys Lurine Bryd was born in Cuero, Texas by her father William Henry Holman Byrd and mother Aletha Isabelle Etter. She grew up studying ballet and eventually own her own studio. She met John Smith during medical school and was married soon after. They had two daughters together and travel all around the country while her husband was in service. She passed away in Mesa, Arizona and was buried along next to her husband.
